Product Description
Sweet back is a hypnotic musical odessey guided by 3/4 of the Sade band. Their sound has been described as "dubwise but not exactly dub, rich in ambience but not exactly ambient music." They combine elements of urban soul with world music to create a sound all their own. "You Will Rise" and "Hope She'll Be Happier" will be serviced to urban, NAC and jazz radio. Guest vocalists include Amel Larrieux (Groove Theory), Maxwell, Leroy Osbourne (Sade's back-up vocalist) and Bahamadia (Philadelphia's new queen of hip hop).
