Veterans of the NYC scene and international touring - Emily as the guitarist of Geese, Olive as the drummer of Sunflower Bean, Christian as the drummer of legendary noise rock band Turnip King, and Jonny as the multi-instrumentalist powerhouse of Outremont, So Long Goodnight, The Paranoyds (just to name a few) - the group use the project to follow instinct and let songs unfold on their own terms. Listening to Star's Revenge is listening to music by people who love music; girls who grew up on classic rock and have spent their lives since ravenously discovering new sounds. Their songs are soaked in epic riffs and relentless fills, and paired perfectly with Olive's mumble-plead vocals.
