Released in 1976 on Fania Records, Lucky 7 was Roberto Roena y Su Apollo Sound’s seventh studio album, arriving as their previous release still topped radio charts. Showcasing Roena’s innovative salsa sound—adding sax to blazing horns—the album features classics like “Mi Desengaño,” “Fea,” and “Que Me Castigue Dios.” This 50th anniversary edition features (AAA) lacquers cut from the original master tapes, pressed on 180-gram vinyl, and housed inside a tip-on jacket replica of the original.
