Monty Alexander's masterpiece album "Rass!," featuring Ernest Ranglin, includes the universally recognized hip-hop sampling phrases "Love and Happiness" and "Let's Stay Together," famously sampled by heavyweight beatmakers such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock, The Beatnuts, and Buckwild. Recorded in Jamaica, this mellow jazz album is marked by it's memorable Fender Rhodes and guitar sound.
