Seelie Court - the world's premier label for rare and previously unreleased archive recordings of underground folk, rock, proto-metal, and psychedelic music presents a monster piece of heavy underground rock. Bodkin's classic Scottish private pressing was originally issued in 1972 in an edition of 200 copies, with only the first six featuring a hand-stencilled cover - faithfully reproduced here for the first time. Driven by powerful organ and guitar work and a classic rock vocal in the Paul Rodgers vein, Bodkin stands proudly alongside Dark and Grannie as one of the finest examples of privately pressed heavy prog. Side One features the band's extended suite "Three Days After Death." This new fully authorised release, created with full participation from the band and their original producer, reproduces the incredibly rare original LP artwork, of which only two of the original six covers are known to survive.
