Presenting the trumpeter at the helm of an excellent quintet with James Spaulding (alto saxophone & flute), Herbie Hancock (piano), Reggie Workman (bass), and Clifford Jarvis (drums), the album opens with a breathtaking performance of the standard "You're My Everything" followed by 4 Hubbard originals.
