His recordings have been celebrated worldwide and continue to be milestones in the discography of classical music. This double vinyl album features some of his finest recordings, including a magnificent rendition of the Beethoven Violin Concerto with André Cluytens, a moment of pure poetry. It also includes the Kreutzer Sonata with his legendary partner Lev Oborin, and a selection of encores with Vladimir Yampolsky.
