Looking to sell your collection? Sold Out Vinyl Records buys vinyl records, CDs, tapes, and select posters and art prints of all sizes—from a few records to large collections.

Meet With Our Buyer

You can now schedule an appointment online to meet directly with one of our buyers. Appointments are recommended if you want to meet with a buyer and discuss your collection in person. We do require appointments to sell posters and any collection with 100+ items. 

Appointments are not required for smaller collections. Walk-ins are always welcome!

If you’d like to walk in and meet with a buyer, we recommend calling us the same day before coming in to make sure a buyer is available.

Don’t need to meet with a buyer?

You can also drop off up to 100 records, CDs, or tapes at a time without an appointment. We’ll evaluate your items and contact you with an offer within 24–48 hours, excluding weekends.

PLEASE RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE IT. This allows us to keep appointments available for other sellers.

We generally do not purchase collections consisting exclusively of pre-1960s records, classical, big band, old beat-up 45s, 78s, or 8-tracks.

That said, we do occasionally purchase select artists and titles on 45s, 78s, and 8-tracks, especially when they are in good condition.

Condition Matters

We’re looking for items that are in good, sellable condition.

We generally cannot purchase records that:

• Are missing their covers
• Are severely scratched
• Skip
• Have significant water damage
• Are otherwise in poor or unsellable condition

In addition to music, we purchase limited-edition posters and art prints, including desirable music-related pieces.

Both locations have a convenient off-street parking lot, and our staff can help you bring your collection inside from your vehicle.

Have a Large Collection?

For large, desirable collections in good condition, we may be able to come to you. We currently make house calls in the 80113 area and may be able to accommodate larger collections outside the area depending on the size and quality of the collection. We are not currently doing house calls for collections under 500 items. 

How Much Do You Pay?

We always aim to make a fair and competitive offer based on the condition, desirability, demand, and current market value of your collection.

Keep in mind that we are a resale business, so we cannot pay retail prices. Our goal is to make an offer that works for both you and us.

Do You Accept Donations?

Yes! We accept donations at the retail store 7 days a week during our regular business hours, with no appointment required.

Donations are a great way to support your local record store. Sold Out Vinyl Records is not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so we are unable to provide tax-deductible donation receipts or donation forms.
