Product Description
Set to be released May 15th, "Degler" is the debut solo album from Zack Degler, known artistically as Degler. This eponymous record is a rich blend of genres, emotions, and sonic experimentation that takes listeners on an introspective and expansive journey. Here's a closer look at the making of the album, it's inspiration, and what you can expect from it's lyrics and style. The Making of the Album: "Degler" was born out of a period of significant transformation for Zack. It explores the chaotic struggle of relapse, and the serene, hopeful moments between episodes. Recording in a limited space saw Zack trying a lot of new things to achieve his sound. The album draws heavily from Degler's life experiences, particularly his journey through addiction and recovery. Themes of accountability, optimism, and introspection are woven throughout the record, making it a deeply personal project. The inspiration for the album also stems from Degler's love of nature and exploration, often finding solace and creativity during his solo motorcycle rides through diverse landscapes. "This album is very much a reflection of my life of late, especially my journey through alcoholism and the joy of finding my way," Degler explains. "I want people to feel like they've been through something when they listen to my album, to experience highs and lows, surprises and comforts, just as we do in life. " FFO: Bahamas, Dijon, Alabama Shakes, Mk. Gee
