In the sentimental song "Old Houses," he tips his hat to the foundation that built him-faith, family, and friends, while tracks such as "Same Here" and "Good Old Days" take audiences down familiar backroads. The full throttle track, "Pontiac (So Tell Me Momma)," paints the picture of a son who's the spitting image of his father, seeking advice from his mom on how to turn his relationship around the way his dad did. Among the album's most poignant pieces is "Gone Fishin'," which reimagines loved ones not as gone forever, but simply casting lines in a better place.
