Austyn - Shipping Lead

If you've ordered from our website and it arrived in one piece, there's a good chance Austyn was involved. As the shipping lead at Sold Out, she spends her days packing records, processing orders, and keeping the never-ending flow of mailers, boxes, and inventory moving in the right direction.

Growing up, Austyn's musical world included everything from Jimi Hendrix and Lauryn Hill to Lady Gaga and No Doubt. Over the years her taste evolved from indie music into hardcore punk, goth, techno, and electronic music, giving her one of the more eclectic collections of influences around the shop.

Her all-time favorites include Bully, Scowl, Ceremony, Pixel Grip, Automatic, and Boy Harsher. Lately she's been listening to a lot of Die Spitz while continuing to rotate through hardcore punk, techno, alt-pop, and darker electronic sounds.

Austyn's recommendations tend to come from the corners of the store that are loud, energetic, atmospheric, and a little unexpected. Whether it's hardcore, goth, post-punk, or electronic music, she's always happy to point customers toward something they may not have discovered otherwise.
