Works by Paquito D'Rivera, Omar Massa, Yamandu Costa, and Sergio Assad trace a vibrant sonic journey from the Caribbean to Buenos Aires and Brazil, where African, Chinese, and Latin American traditions meet the symphonic stage.The composers perform as soloists alongside The Impossible Orchestra; the spontaneity and shared energy of the live performance imbue these works with a raw, unrepeatable intensity.
