Carrying forward the legacy of John Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders devoted his life to transcending the physical boundaries of sound, creating deeply spiritual music until his passing in 2022. Meanwhile, Wendell Harrison-leader of Detroit's TRIBE collective-has remained steadfast in independently advancing Black consciousness and spiritual jazz from a grassroots perspective. Though they never met in life, these two artists are brought together through a tribute performance dedicated to Sanders. Recorded in July 2025, under the guiding theme of "Love & Peace," this powerful live document sees the TRIBE Jazz Ensemble channeling Sanders' spirit, offering healing and unity in a world marked by turmoil.
